Gears of War Maps

These Gears of War maps were made during a level design class with Patrick Curry. Seaside Plaza and Basement Warehouse were solo projects completed in one week each; Port Hidor was a two-week project built by a team of four.

From Encounters to a Complete Level

Each project explored a different part of level design. Seaside Plaza focused on combat space and a changing encounter, while Basement Warehouse built a traversal puzzle around the cover system. Port Hidor combined layout, combat, scripting, and level streaming into a longer single-player experience. Together, they show the progression from a contained design exercise to a complete route through several connected spaces.
